Fake support calls – Caller ID spoofed, claim virus. Ask for remote access/gift cards. Microsoft never calls unsolicited
Phishing emails – fake "security alert". Only @microsoft.com is real. Use MFA.
Fake pop-up alerts – with toll-free number. Never call. Real errors never show phone.
Lottery/refund scams – "You won $1M Microsoft prize" – never happens.

Hang up – if anyone claims to be Microsoft support, terminate the call immediately.
Never grant remote access – no TeamViewer/AnyDesk for strangers.
Check email domain – only @microsoft.com / @account.microsoft.com.
